Our team members bring a wealth of dance knowledge and experience with them, many of whom are former Star Steppers students themselves, as well as professional performers and teachers who've been lucky enough to work all around the globe.

Anthony & Jay

Principal & Vice Principal

Our team is led by professionals Anthony and Jay – two dancers, singers and actors who have performed in countless shows around the world during the last decade, including trips to Tunisia, Turkey, Cyprus, the Canaries, Dubai and even on cruise ships. Drawing from over a decade of experience, Anthony and Jay are very passionate about passing their love of the performing arts onto the next generation.

Anthony, who is no stranger to Star Steppers having been a student of the school back when it started in 2005, was offered the opportunity to take over the dance school that had taught him so much. Star Steppers was a huge part of his life growing up, so naturally he jumped at the chance to lead the school into a new era and continue the legacy that has been a huge part of many young students lives within Derby.

Now, along with Jay and armed with the amazing experiences of a successful performing career and a childhood as a Star Steppers student, both worlds have collided in the most magical way. So why not come experience the best of both these worlds with us at Star Steppers.
